Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) reminds the public to be wary of possible fraudulent charitable solicitations following the Boston Marathon explosions. The FBI has received indications that people may be using social media and e-mail to facilitate fraudulent activities online.

Manassas City Police report that they are continuing to examine leads involving the April 16, 1988 disappearance of Jerry Plaster of Manassas. Plaster was 25 years old then; he'd be 50 now. He was last seen on Sudley Road near Manassas Mall, where he'd been dropped off by a friend, according to police.
