Following the notification of a next-of-kin ,Prince William County Police have identified the victim killed in an Oct. 6 stabbing as Jeremy David Lewis, 43, of Dumfries. The incident occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Ln. in Woodbridge (22192).

Amy Ashworth, Prince William County Commonwealth’s Attorney, has announced the successful prosecution of Daquan Artis Tinker arising from the Dec. 19, 2019, attempted aggravated murder, robbery, and malicious wounding of two victims in Woodbridge, Va.

On Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:15AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Dale Forest Apartments in the 14300 block of Wrangler Ln. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an injured person call. Officers located the victim, a 43-year-old man, inside the apartment suffering from a laceration to the upper body. Fire and rescue personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
