Western Prince William Delegate Ian Lovejoy (R-22) has issued a news release saying he will submit five unique pieces of legislation aimed at mitigating growing data center impacts, particularly in Prince William County.

Prince William County's redistricting map, designed to more evenly divide voters in the county was approved by the U.S. Department of Justice. The county registrar will be sending out information on voting places and districts in the near future.

Prince William County's unemployment rate drops to 4.9 percent according to an April 2011 report. The national average is 9 percent; statewide it's 5.8 percent.

Members of Dominion Woman’s Club dedicated its Pinwheel Garden Project at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas to commemorate National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The club is active in the community and works to find unity in diversity, according to its motto.
