September 2 was the start of exciting new chapters in more than 86,000 individual stories, as students walked through the doors of 94 Prince William County Public Schools. Their smiles, and more than a few cases of nerves, offered only a glimpse of what lies ahead.

The Prince William Soil & Water Conservation District (PWSWCD) will begin a series of workshops for small acreage landowners (5-20 acres) who are thinking of establishing, or have already started, a small-scale/alternative agricultural operation.
The Labor Day Holiday saw a slight increase in the number of fatalities compared to the 2013 holiday weekend but fatalities overall are on the decline compared to the same time period in 20133, according to a Virginia State Police news release.
On August 30, 2014 Manassas City Police met with a resident for a report of an assault involving multiple individuals. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 6:00PM, two juvenile male victims (16yo and 17yo) were walking in the area of Confederate Trail when they were approached by two black males on foot who began to antagonize them.
