Prince William County government's Historic Preservation Division is beginning a series of free "lectures" on World War II and the Vietnam War. The talks will be on the last Thursday evening of the next five months starting Thursday, Jan. 29.

By working with the Virginia Department of Health Division of Vital Records, DMV began issuing copies of Virginia birth certificates in March 2014. This summer, DMV will offer copies of death, marriage and divorce certificates.“More than 72,000 customers requested a copy of a birth certificate at DMV last year," according to a statement by DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb.
On January 14th at 10:54PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 5600 block of Northton Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries, Perok said.
