A team of land use experts from the American Institute of Architects will be in Prince William County June 8-10 to work with county officials, community decision-makers and stakeholders to help them develop a vision and framework for a sustainable future in designated areas of Dale City.

Prince William County School of Practical Nursing will hold a Graduation and Capping Ceremony on Friday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Osbourn Park High School. Twenty-eight students will be graduating as part of the class of 2015 while 52 students will receive their caps and lamps as part of this time-honored ceremony.

The City of Manassas will hold a Primary Election on June 9, 2015. There will be one office on the ballot: State Senate, 29th District, for the Democratic Party to select a candidate. State Sen, Charles J. Colgan, who currently holds the seat until Dec. 31, 2015, is retiring.

A reverse trade mission from Brazil visited the City of Manassas Utilities Department on May 13. Their interest was in how the City of Manassas manages its water, sewer and electric utilities.
