Cycling Event Crash Investigation – On July 2nd at 12:20PM, investigators from the PWC Police Department Crash Investigation Unit responded to Prince William Forest Park in Triangle (22172) to investigate a crash involving multiple bicyclists participating in the 2015 World Police & Fire Games.
Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) in Haymarket is holding a ribbon cutting at its Bull Run Warrior Retreat on Saturday, July 4th, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Retreat will serve our Nation’s wounded, ill and injured service members and their families. The event will feature a special performance by the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps.
Local talk show host Tina Murray will kick off the Manassas City fireworks celebration by singing the national anthem at 9 p.m. Prior to her performance, from 2 to 4 p.m., she will tape a live production of “The Tina V Show.” Events will be on the Manassas Museum lawn.

Key pieces of Governor Terry McAuliffe’s 2015 “New Virginia Economy” legislative agenda were among the nearly 800 pieces of legislation that took effect July 1. This year the McAuliffe administration passed 150 bills, amounting to a 70% success rate, according to the governor's office.

Centreville Baptist Church is into its second year of reaching out to immigrant families who need academic help through its Learning Support Ministry. Daniel Park, a pastor and Director of Ethnic Ministry, initiated the special ministry after realizing that people are coming to the United States for education for themselves or their children.
