PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
NOVEC HELPS is asking area residents to donate non-perishable food to the Operation Turkey drive to help provide Thanksgiving meals for low-income people in Prince William County. Food is needed by Nov. 13.
Prince William County's Superintendent of Schools Steven L. Walts gave a “State of the Schools” report to businessmen and women, community leaders, and elected officials last week.
On Sunday, Nov. 1 at 7:48AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 15200 block of Brazil Cir in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a death. The caller reported to police that he was walking his dog when he observed an unknown man lying on the front steps of a townhouse in the area above.
Out of more than 1,000 school partners, four stood out to earn recognition as winners of the 2015 Business Partnership Awards given by Prince William County Schools. These partners made a significant impact on students, teachers, and administrative staff.

The Pre-Governor’s School at Osbourn Park High School (PGS@OP) in Manassas will be a preparatory program with an accelerated mathematics and science course sequence that prepares students who want to apply to the Governor’s School @ Innovation Park, which is open to juniors and seniors. More details on PGS@OP will be presented at a specialty program information night at OPHS on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.

A total of 80 out of 87 eligible Prince William County Public Schools are fully accredited, according to a report on state accreditation and federal accountability results released today by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). The change reflects the improved performance of seven schools that rose from “accredited with warning” status last year to fully accredited now.
