PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Virginians are solidly opposed to President Obama’s plans to allow Syrian refugees into the country, with many residents concerned that doing so would make a future terrorist attack more likely, according to a new survey sponsored by the University of Mary Washington’s Center for Leadership and Media Studies.
With the Supreme Court about to consider hearing the appeal of former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, an unprecedented demonstration of support has come from hundreds of the country’s top legal minds, scholars, political figures representing both parties, business leaders and policy makers, according to a news release.
