PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Virginia’s 4 p.m. Burning Law goes into effect Feb. 15th – the start of spring fire season. The law prohibits burning before 4 p.m. each day until April 30th if the fire is in, or within 300 feet of, woodland, brushland or fields containing dry grass or other flammable materials.
Prince William County VA supervisor Frank Principi: "We are all motorists, walkers, or cyclists at one point or another. It’s time we learn to better share the road..We want to eliminate the ‘sidewalks to nowhere’ and increase safety so families are better connected to schools, churches, parks, shopping, and other amenities.”
The City of Manassas Water Department has rescheduled the connection to the new 36” transmission line on Vint Hill Road for Thursday, Feb. 6, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through Friday, Feb. 7 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

City of Manassas Water Department has rescheduled the connection to the new 36” transmission line on Vint Hill Road for Tuesday, Feb. 4, beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing through Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Two meetings are scheduled for the public to learn more about strategies being considered to transform 25 miles of Interstate 66 between the Beltway and Haymarket. A Jan. 30 meeting is in Fairfax. A Feb. 5 meeting is in Prince William County.
