PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
On Wednesday, March 26 at 10 a.m., the City of Manassas will put out a phone call to all City of Manassas residents to test the CodeRED emergency telephone notification system and to clean up phone numbers no longer in use.
Manassas City and Prince William County Police will offer free VIN (vehicle identification number) etching on Saturday, April 12.
Due to the weather, a brief closing of the Aden Road Bridge in Prince William County has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 19 and Thursday, March 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will perform geotechnical borings in the area.

Prince William Democratic Committee (PWCDC) has cancelled the unassembled caucus scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Haymarket Town Hall. One candidate has dropped out of the race and thrown his support to the other candidate.
The Public Hearing scheduled for tonight, Monday, March 17, at 7:30 p.m. will be postponed until the next regular Manassas City Council meeting on March 24 due to the snow emergency.

Prince William County Police have announced the arrest of a suspect in the March 9 case involving a sleeping woman in Manassas who was sexually assaulted by a stranger. Police have also announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with a March 6 bank robbery in Nokesville.
