On Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1:01PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7400 block of Wellington Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate found human remains. Also, Guns were involved in four incidents reported to Prince William County Police.
Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that Matthew Wells is the next director of the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. The DCR is Virginia’s lead natural resource conservation agency, overseeing the commonwealth’s natural habitat, parks, clean water, dams and access to the outdoors.

Two new disorders have been added to the Commonwealth’s newborn screening program, which helps detect a variety of rare, life-threatening conditions in infants. Beginning today, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) will join a screening panel of metabolic and genetic disorders that range from the more well-known Cystic Fibrosis to many relatively obscure conditions that can cause severe sickness, physical or mental disabilities, even death, if not diagnosed early.
