PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

The Hylton Performing Arts Center announced Oct. 9 it has canceled the Oct. 11 performance of the Grammy® Award-winning ensemble Ranky Tanky due to impending weather forecasts. The performance was to be part of the Hylton Center’s new Hylton on the Hill outdoor concert series, which uses the lawn located just behind the Hylton Center.

Two arrested, two being sought in connection with law enforcement incidents Oct. 2-4.
Gainesville Middle School is one of seven public schools in Northern Virginia to receive a Healthy Kids grant from The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia. Grants up to $2,000 for the 2020-21 school year were awarded to support programs that promote healthy lifestyles through increased exercise and physical activity or healthy nutrition.
Prince William County Police Department's MPO Renee Carr, police department representative, reported that on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 12:21PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14500 block of Leary St. in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a domestic with weapons. While investigating, officers learned there were additional occupants inside the home with the accused at the time of the incident.
