PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, reported to police that while he and other acquaintances were inside a vehicle in the Old Delaney Rd. area of Woodbridge, rounds were fired towards their vehicle. During the shooting, the victim and the vehicle were struck.

On Friday Dec. 4, upon further investigation, detectives with Prince William County Police Department's Special Victims Bureau determined that the incident surrounding the attempted abduction that allegedly occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and the I-95 interchange in Woodbridge on Dec. 1 was unfounded.

On Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 5:20PM, Prince William County officers responded to investigate an attempted abduction allegedly in the area of Prince William Pkwy. and the I-95 interchange in Woodbridge (22191) about 4 p.m. The victim, a 37-year-old woman, told police that she was walking home along a footpath on the Prince William Pkwy., just beyond the I-95 overpass, towards Summerland Dr. when she encountered three unknown men. A westbound motorist on PW Pkwy. towards I-95 slowed his/her vehicle and honked the horn which caused the suspect to release the victim. The vehicle continued driving and the three men fled into the nearby wooded area.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit identified a suspect in connection to the shooting of Michael Bright ADOM that was reported to have occurred in the 4000 block of Westwind Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) on Nov. 29.
