Prince William County police detectives and investigators with the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office now are jointly investigating a Jan. 6 incident which initially began as a domestic-related shooting at a residence in the 10000 block of Ellis Rd in Manassas (20111) at approximately 6:04PM.

The Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles noted that in 2019, there were 120 deaths, 13,258 injuries and 34,850 crashes attributed to distracted driving, including using a mobile phone. The new law, passed in July 2020, attempts to address this growing problem.
