Suspect grabs neck of woman several times, police report

On July 19 at 2:28AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15200 block of Streamside Ct. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic. Upon arrival, officers detained a man, later identified as the accused, who was determined to be intoxicated.

Victim lands in hospital after verbal altercation, assault and abduction

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 44-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation while at a nearby business. The altercation escalated when the accused struck the victim several times. At one point, the accused brandished a firearm and prevented the victim from getting out of the vehicle.

On July 17, 2021 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit concluded the investigation into the shooting death of a 17-year-old male juvenile that occurred in the 4700 block of Still Pl in Woodbridge on July 12. The investigation revealed that the victim and three other men, identified as the accused suspects, met in the above area to conduct a marijuana transaction.
