OmniRide service changes take effect Monday, Sept. 27

OmniRide’s Fall Service Change will take effect on Monday, Sept. 27, when schedules for Express, Metro Express, and Local routes will change. The Lake Ridge – Mark Center Express route is still suspended. In order to minimize interactions between bus operators and riders and allow customers to board quickly and self-distance more effectively, OmniRide has instituted free fares on Local and Metro Express services.

On Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at 11:17AM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to Youth for Tomorrow located at 11835 Hazel Circle Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an assault.

Suspects in three robberies all demanded money

On Friday, Sept. 17, at 9:42PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that while on the sidewalk in the above area, he was approached by two unknown men asking for money. When the victim refused, one of the men implied he had a weapon before both men grabbed the victim and took his property.

On Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 at 8:25PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Otis Ct. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a domestic.
