PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
A new curbside yard waste collection program begins Oct. 1 in Prince William County. Yard waste will be collected separately from trash and recycling. Yard waste must be placed in biodegradable paper bags or containers labeled “Yard Waste”. Do not use plastic bags for yard waste collection.

Comcast reports that it has instituted new steps to help advance digital equity for more students and families.
OmniRide’s Fall Service Change will take effect on Monday, Sept. 27, when schedules for Express, Metro Express, and Local routes will change. The Lake Ridge – Mark Center Express route is still suspended. In order to minimize interactions between bus operators and riders and allow customers to board quickly and self-distance more effectively, OmniRide has instituted free fares on Local and Metro Express services.

On Friday, Sept. 17, at 9:42PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that while on the sidewalk in the above area, he was approached by two unknown men asking for money. When the victim refused, one of the men implied he had a weapon before both men grabbed the victim and took his property.
