PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

Occoquan's VFW Post 7916 will hold a brief ceremony for National POW/MIA Recognition Day in Occoquan's Mamie Davis Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15.

On Tuesday, Sept.12, 2023 the suspect sought in connection to the domestic dispute reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2700 block of Myrtlewood Dr. in Dumfries (22026) on August 7, 2023 was arrested, according to a Prince William County Police Department report.

On September 3, 2023, the third suspect sought in connection to the gang related abduction that was reported to have occurred in the area of Rixlew Ln. and Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) on May 7, 2018, was arrested. The suspect, who was a juvenile at the time of the incident, was taken into custody without incident. Two other men were previously arrested in October 2018, in connection with the investigation.

On September 7, 2023, the second suspect sought in connection to the home invasion that was reported to have occurred in the Westgate Apartments. in Manassas (20109) on July 7, 2021, was arrested.

This morning, Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at about 10:45 a.m., Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 12900 block of Orleans Street (Lake Ridge) for a house fire. Crews arrived with smoke and fire showing from the attic in the front of the house.

On September 10, 2026 at 12:47AM, officers responded to the 17300 block of Pacific Rim Ter. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed gunshots were heard in the above area before a dark colored sedan was seen quickly driving away.
