Virginia State Veterinarian issues Entry Permit for Santa’s Reindeer

Santa’s visit to Virginia may be brief each year, but it’s still vitally important to our state agricultural industry that his reindeer are healthy,” VDACS State Veterinarian Dr. Charlie Broaddus said. “It’s a privilege to issue permits for entry for Santa, and I hope he enjoys some fresh local Virginia milk and that the reindeer get plenty of Virginia grown carrots during their visit.”

Dad arrested after attempting to take 3-year-old son from Woodbridge home

On September 5 at 8:42PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15300 block of Elizabeth Burbage Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight. The altercation escalated when the accused retrieved a machete and confronted the child’s mother and her family.
