On June 21, 2021 investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit obtained charges against the driver of the 2002 Honda Civic involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) on April 4, 2021. One was killed and four were hurt.

On Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 6:15 p.m., Prince William County Police officers responded to the Riverwood Apartments located in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of shots fired. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard before parties dispersed, leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.

Prince William County Police are running the annual safety "Click It or (get a) Ticket Seatbelt Campaign" through Sunday, June 6. It is the driver’s responsibility to make sure all children, age 15 and under, are secured properly. Virginia law allows police to cite anyone driving a car in which an occupant under age 16 is not wearing a safety belt or is not in a child safety seat. It also provides that drivers may be cited if they are not properly restrained if stopped for other violations.

On Friday, May 21 at 11:16AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Sam’s Club located at 14050 Worth Ave. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a child neglect call. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that was not running and occupied by an unsupervised 11-month-old boy.
