Angelina Seamster, Colgan High School senior, will be the featured cello soloist performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major. Miss Seamster participates in the Fine and Performing Arts program at Colgan High School, and has been performing with the MSO since she was in the 8th grade.

The 4th Colgan Classic, featuring high school bands from across Northern Virginia will perform at Colgan High School on Saturday, Sept. 24 beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Colgan Band will perform at 12:45 p.m.

The presentation reads in part, “Over the last two decades, Donna has played in various ceremonies and dedications in honor of Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day and 9/11. Her rendition of ‘Taps’ continues to bring dignity and meaning to these very important events."
