Willing Warriors Retreat at Bull Run will present its 5th Annual Warrior Ride on Saturday, Sept.10. The event will kick off with the Metric Ride at 7:45 a.m. from the grounds of the Farm Brewery at Broad Run located at 16015 John Marshall Hwy (Rt. 55), Broad Run, VA 20137. We are humbled and honored to support our men and women in service and our veterans.

Gov. Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin have presented the Spirit of Virginia Award to Jill’s House in Vienna, an overnight respite care center for families with children with intellectual disabilities. This is the second of six Spirit of Virginia Awards the First Couple plans to present in 2022.

Virginia Museum of History & Culture (VMHC) has been selected by the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) to receive a 2021 National Award of Excellence recipient for its year-long leadership of Virginia’s Women’s Suffrage Centennial.

Leaders of 35 non-profit organizations in Northern Virginia visited Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) Dec. 8 for a Community Partner Celebration. The event recognized local service groups that are changing lives every day and tackling community disparities. In 2021-23 Sentara has donated $2 million+ to aid these groups in their work.

Gov. Ralph Northam has announced $70 million for small businesses and nonprofit organizations whose normal operations were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding will come through Rebuild VA, a new economic recovery fund, and grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to approximately 7,000 applicants to cover eligible expenses.
