Catholics may witnesses Holy Week Masses which will be celebrated by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington. These will be available at ArlingtonDiocese.org. The Cathedral will not be open to the public for the celebration of these Masses, in conjunction with efforts being made at all levels to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Bishop Michael F. Burbidge, Diocese of Arlington, issued a video message March 16 to the faithful in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19). In the video, Bishop Burbidge announced that the public celebration of all Masses in the Diocese is suspended until further notice. He asked priests to keep churches open for prayer but stressed social distancing and not exceeding the 10-person limit.

On Sunday, Feb. 28, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Special Victims Unit, in conjunction with Child Protective Services, began an investigation into a reported indecent exposure incident that was alleged to have occurred at a home in the Dumfries (22026) area of Prince William County on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
