The Nokesville Business Association meeting this Wednesday evening, June 17, has been cancelled so that those interested may attend a special open house regarding the proposed ADAMS project on Schaeffer Lane/ Vint Hill Road.

This 40-day initiative is an opportunity for Catholics throughout the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to come back to the Catholic Church through the Sacrament of Confession.

Scouts and their families will be participating in a circuit hike (about 4 miles) through the City of Manassas Feb. 7, weather permitting with stops at five churches. Participants will donate food and will pick up trash along the way. At each stop a church representative will conduct an interactive discussion with the youth about two of the Ten Commandments along with a brief introduction to their particular religious denomination.

Park Valley Church in Haymarket is hosting a breakfast for men on Saturday, January 31, 2014 at 8 a.m. The featured speaker is former Denver Bronco, Steve Fitzhugh.

"The Longest Night: A Service of Prayers for Healing and Wholeness" will be offered at Manassas Presbyterian Church on Sunday, December 21, at 5:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to join in sharing prayers for peace on the theme "Sharing Water, Sharing Air, Sharing The Earth in Peace" at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Manassas Church of the Brethren (10047 Nokesville, Rd., Manassas).
