Fire destroys Harvey Road home in Manassas on Jan. 10

Crews arriving on the scene found a single-family dwelling fully involved in flames. After battling weather conditions, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. No one was home at the time. The home was destroyed. No one was injured.

Garage in Coles District catches on fire while family is away

On Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 at 7:39 p.m. PW fire and rescue units were dispatched to a home in the 8000 block of Erika Drive in Coles District for a reported house fire. Crews arrived with heavy fire and smoke showing from an attached garage. The occupants were not at home when the fire was discovered by neighbors.

First Deputy Director for PWC Development Services appointed

Prince William County Department of Development Services has selected Mandi Spina as Deputy Director. This is a new position approved in the 2022-23 budget. Spina has nearly 10 years of experience supporting the Department in increasingly senior roles.

LEGO to build $1 billion U.S. manufacturing plant outside Richmond, to create 1760+ jobs

Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced today June 15 that the LEGO Group will invest more than $1 billion to construct its U.S. manufacturing plant in Chesterfield County outside Richmond. The company will construct a new 1.7 million-square-foot precision manufacturing facility in Meadowville Technology Park, which will create 1,760+ new jobs, according to the Governor's Office.

Early morning fire on June 5 destroys four townhomes, displaces ten people in Montclair

On Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 1:44 AM fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 4000 block of Jonathan Ct. (Montclair) for reports of a townhouse on fire, according to Matt Smolsky, Fire Marshal and Deputy Fire Chief of PWC Fire and Rescue.
