On Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, Save Our Homes Alliance will address the Manassas City Council about concerns over the eviction of 40+ families from the East End Mobile Home Park. The Alliance is comprised of East End homeowners, Manassas residents and supporters countywide. The Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm with citizens time at 7:30 pm.

County planning commission to consider land use changes for a church parking lot and a Taco Bell eatery with drive-in (rezoning & Special Use Permit) and changes to the Design and Construction Standards Manual to "solve/correct design and construction issues, omissions, errors and inconsistencies" in fire safety and transportation areas

The Office of Facilities Services for Prince William County Schools will hold a public meeting Nov. 9 to share information on the proposed 13th high school site to be located off Linton Hall Road at Rollins Ford Road.

The public is invited to participate in the second of two scheduled Community Dialogues on public middle school facilities in Fauquier County with a special focus on Taylor and Warrenton Middle Schools. The Community Dialogue will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fauquier High School cafeteria.

The presentation will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Woodbridge Middle School, located at 2201 York Drive, Woodbridge.

Keeping a forest in the family will be the topic of a two-day short course that will be held October 5 and October 12 at The Inn at Willow Grove in Orange, Va. Attendees will learn what they need to do to successfully pass their land on to the next generation of their family members without breaking up the land or losing it due to tax burdens.
