Saving a life is as easy as wearing a seatbelt: Motorists reminded wearing seatbelts is mandatory

The Prince William County Police reminds motorists to ear your seatbelt every time because seatbelts save lives! That is the underlying message of this year’s “Click It or Ticket” seatbelt enforcement campaign, which runs through Dec. 1, 2024.

Male visitor shot at Potomac Mills store, then drives self to hospital; police seek shooter

On Thurdsday, Nov. 18, 2021 at 3:09PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting at the Fashion Mechanics store. Public information officer MPO Renee Carr said that responding officers quickly established that the incident was isolated to the one store.

Copper pipes missing; water running out of house in Manassas

The homeowner reported to police that at 6:30PM an acquaintance arrived at the home and observed the front door was ajar and water was running out of the house.

Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle on Rt. 28 (Centreville Rd.)

The investigation revealed that the driver of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata was traveling southbound on Centreville Rd., when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway.
