$15.7 million in federal funding for electric vehicle charging in Virginia

Today, Feb. 10, U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced $15,745,244 in federal funding for Virginia to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Youngkin says he’ll sign bill giving parents opt-out from mask mandates at school

Gov. Glenn Youngkin was quoted in a press release as saying,“In an overwhelming bipartisan show of support, the Senate of Virginia took a significant step Feb. 8 for parents and children. I applaud Senator Petersen’s amendment to give parents the right to decide whether their children should wear masks in schools...I look forward to signing this bill when it comes to my desk."

Springfield man charged with burglaries, unlawful wounding, assault on LEO in Haymarket Feb. 4

On Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 at 10:20PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 4400 block of Dodds Mill Dr. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving in the area, officers were informed by residents that the suspect, later identified as the accused, had broken into a neighbor’s home, and was standing nearby.
