On Wednesday, March 9, 2022 detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Special Victims Bureau, in coordination with Child Protective Services (CPS), began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County on March 8.

For several years Social Security impersonation scams have been one of the most common government imposter scams reported to the Federal Trade Commission. On March 3, 2022 detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded the investigation into two commercial burglaries previously reported to have occurred at the Bristow Vape & Smoke Nokesville Rd. in Manassas (20109) on Sept. 29, 2021 and again on Oct. 2, 2021 and arrested a juvenile male, age 14.

Mountain Road between Quaker Road and Ridge Road will be closed to through traffic for 24 hours, weather permitting, from Friday, March 11 at 7 p.m. to Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. so a culvert pipe can be replaced, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
