The Prince William County Police reminds motorists to ear your seatbelt every time because seatbelts save lives! That is the underlying message of this year’s “Click It or Ticket” seatbelt enforcement campaign, which runs through Dec. 1, 2024.

Vehicle crashes into Woodbridge Chipotle restaurant during lunch hour

Crews arrived to find a vehicle partially into the structure with damage to the immediate area. The restaurant was open and serving customers at the time of the incident. The building was posted unsafe to occupy by the Prince William County Building Official and it is unknown when the business will reopen.

PWC Police arrest armed man on schools grounds in Woodbridge

On March 24, 2022 at 11:11AM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Rippon Middle School, located at 15101 Blackburn Rd in Woodbridge (22191), was informed by school staff of a gunshot heard near campus.

The investigation revealed that the student, identified as the accused, was in a classroom when he placed a bag on his desk and announced there was a bomb in the bag. Another student in the classroom quickly left and immediately notified the SRO. The building was evacuated, and the SRO quickly located the accused and detained him without incident.
