Through a PWCPD partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), a $5,000 reward is being offered in connection with the arrest and conviction of the suspect involved. The Prince William County Police Department is also offering up to an additional $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.

Prince William County says it wants "to educate, advocate and dispel myths and stigma around mental illness."
