Steven G. Liga, a professor at Rutgers University and CEO & executive director of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) of Middlesex County, Inc in New Jersey, will begin as the new Chief Executive Officer of Action in Community Through Service’s (ACTS) on March 30, according to Craig Gerhart, president of ACTS' board.

On Monday, Jan. 26 at approximately 2 a.m. fire and rescue units were dispatched to a structure fire located in the 14000 block of Fitzwater Drive in Nokesville, after a family dog repeatedly signaled to go outside. Virginia is the first state in the nation to develop provider agreements between Federally Qualified Health Centers and the VA through the Veterans Choice Program. To date, four Federally Qualified Health Centers, with 22 sites of care have signed up to provide health services to eligible veterans.
