Prince William County Animal Control says there are steps you can take to keep yourself and your family safe from rabies throughout the year.

Prince William County Animal Shelter has received laboratory results confirming that Calicivirus has been introduced to the Shelter, and a majority of cats in the shelter has been infected. Calicivirus, known as Calici, is a highly contagious virus that causes upper respiratory and oral disease in cats.
