Ashton Ave. in Manassas has reopened a day early after emergency culvert replacement

Ashton Avenue opened to through traffic between Crestwood Drive and Lomond Drive today Nov. 17 as crews finished replacing a damaged culvert, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Earlier VDOT had estimated a Nov. 18 reopening.

First family medicine residents to start in July 2016 at Novant’s new medical school in NC

Beginning in 2016, residents who want to practice family medicine will have an opportunity to complete their training with the Novant Health Family Medicine Residency in Cornelius, NC. Residents will complete three years of extensive training with rotations in community clinics as well as Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital.
