Supplements. They are in the grocery store, health food stores, on TV and in your Facebook feed. They tout a variety of benefits from decreasing pain, improving sleep or mood to weight loss, or muscle gain. Many claim to be “all natural.” Have an ailment? There is likely a supplement for that. Before you head off to the store to find a “natural” remedy for your malady, we would like to offer a few tips before you pick one off the shelf.

Heroin, along with other drugs, has caused an increase in overdoses and deaths here in Prince William County. Join Supervisor Jeanine Lawson, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and Prince William Police to learn how to combat the dangers of drug abuse in our community. Lawson's town hall meeting will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at Patriot High School Auditorium, 10504 Kettle Run Rd, Nokesville.

Parents are reminded that all students entering sixth grade in Prince William County Public Schools this fall must present proof that they have had a booster dose of the tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine before entering the sixth grade.

Reference the below Fatal Crash Investigation, the striking vehicle involved in this incident is further described as a 2002-07 dark colored van, possibly a Dodge Caravan or Grand Caravan, Chrysler Voyager or Town & Country, or a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. Other notable indications to the striking vehicle could include damage to vehicle’s windshield, hood, left amber light, and/or left front-end damage or missing plastic wheel well parts.

This morning, Monday, May 16 at 11:30 AM, U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) joined flight attendants, anti-trafficking advocates, and federal law enforcement at Ronald Reagan National Airport to call on Congress to pass legislation that would help to combat human trafficking on commercial air flights.
