Dominion Energy is mobilizing hundreds of employees and contractors to respond to what is likely to be one of the largest electric industry restoration efforts in United States history after Hurricane Irma devastated Florida and left millions without power.

Prince William County Service Authority will begin performing rehabilitation work on the sanitary sewer system in the Manassas area today, Monday, Sept. 11. The work will take about five weeks to complete. Because this rehabilitation work is ‘trenchless’, there will be virtually no impact on traffic, according to Kipp Hanley, PWCSA spokesman.

Haymarket's Park Valley Church's Disaster Relief Team (PVC DRT) will be deploying to flood ravaged Houston to bring supplies, help, and Jesus to a community in need, according to a news release, and local donations of supplies are needed. On September 8th, a team of approximately eight volunteers will be driving two moving trucks full of supplies 23+ hours to Houston, Texas.
