On December 2 at the Prince William County Animal Shelter Girl Scout Cadettes (6th-8th grade) from St. Francis of Assisi School in Triangle will volunteer at the Shelter’s holiday open house. The Cadettes will provide tours of the Shelter to visiting families and will run two craft booths to raise money.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors Nov. 21 voted to name the new Central District Police Station after retired Police Chief Charlie T. Deane. When he retired in 2012 with 42 years service, Deane was the longest-serving of the original 42-member of the Prince William County Police Department.
