Prince William Health District (PWHD) reminds everyone that mosquitoes can carry diseases like West Nile Virus and Zika. PWHD offers information and suggestions on how to protect yourself and your family from the bite of these pests, and the diseases they carry.

On July 22, 2018 at 4:52PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a body that was located in the 7700 block of Coppermine Dr in Manassas (20109). The caller contacted police after discovering the body in a wooded area while walking back from an area park.

Shooting Investigation – On July 20 at 1:49AM, officers responded to the El Ranchon located at 13638 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting.

Juvenile, 16, has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a minor.
