Rt. 29 northbound in Centreville to close Sept. 26 for Cub Run bridgework

Northbound Route 29 (Lee Highway) will have single-lane closures between White Post Road and Paddington Lane, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 to implement a traffic shift, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. During that time, the northbound Route 29 lanes between White Post Road and Paddington Lane will be shifted to a split configuration with one lane to the left and the other lane to the right of the work area in the median. The split configuration will be in place until this winter.

National Night Out is tonight, Aug. 2

Tonight, Tuesday, August 2, the Prince William County Police Department will observe the National Night Out celebration. County residents are encouraged to participate by turning on outdoor lights and spending the evening outside as a symbol that they care about one another and their neighborhoods.
