James Lane, Virginia's Superintendent of Public Instruction, is using his authority under Governor Ralph Northam’s Executive Order 51 to ensure that high school seniors who were on track to earn a diploma later this spring are able to graduate, despite school shutdowns for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year as a means of slowing the spread of COVID-19.

*MISSING ENDANGERED JUVENILE: The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public's help locating Keamanni Marie COOK. Police said the investigation revealed that Keamanni was last seen on March 21 about 2:10 a.m. at Youth for Tomorrow facility in Bristow with another resident.

The Virginia Department of Corrections is now manufacturing sneeze/cough guard masks for use by Virginia DOC staff and offenders. These are not medical grade masks but they will aid in the effort to keep COVID-19 out of the state’s correctional facilities.
