Man attacked with flaming log in Woodbridge, in hospital; suspect charged

Prince William Fire & Rescue reports that a Woodbridge man was attacked April 5, 2020 with a flaming log, which knocked the victim into a fire, causing burns to his face, neck, shoulder, back, and forearms. A suspect was charged with malicious wounding by fire and is being held without bond.

Wittman introduces bill for pilot grants to expand reliable broadband to 19 million rural Americans

Victim avoids stabbing; suspect vanishes

On April 1 at 12:16AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Evansport Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

Flying shoe strikes police officer in chest at Manassas area park

On March 29 at 9:50PM, Prince William County police officers responded to Rosemont Lewis Park located at 11000 Crestwood Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a trespassing complaint. Officers made contact with a group of individuals to advise them to extinguish the bonfire that was lit and leave the park.
