Prince William County Police investigated two cases of shots being fired in the Yorkshire area May 5 & May 6 within 45 minutes of each other. MPO Renee Carr, public information officer, said in police reports that the two incidents were unrelated.

Today, April 29, the remaining suspect sought in connection to the April 2 fatal shooting that occurred outside of the Manassas Mall located on Sudley Rd in the Manassas area of Prince William County, was arrested, according to a report from First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department.

A woman, 24, was allegedly struck several times, had her throat grabbed and was kicked after she fell to the ground during a verbal altercation in Lake Ridge. A family member took her to the hospital. While investigating, officers located a man who initially falsely identified himself to them and was later identified as the accused.
