Early this morning, Prince William County Police found a man and a woman dead at a Manassas residence. Both appeared to have been shot. Police are investigating and are seeking tips from the community.

Scrumptious foods, baked goods and carefully crafted household items made by Sudley United Methodist Church's bakers, cooks, crafters and sewing specialists will be on display and for sale at the church's 102nd Annual Holiday Bazaar that will be held Oct. 25, 26 & 27.

Overeaters Anonymous is now meeting weekly on Mondays at Bethel United Methodist Church, 13506 Minnieville Rd. (at intersection with Smoketown Road near Dale City and LakeRidge) in Woodbridge, VA on Mondays at 7 p.m.

A Latino Outreach Event featuring resources available in Prince William County all be held on Oct. 9 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Freedom High School, 15201 Neabsco Mills Rd. Woodbridge, Va 22191.

The Prince William County Fire and Rescue Swift Water Rescue Team continues to assist victims of the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Southwest Virginia near the North Carolina border.

The investigation revealed on two separate occasions that the accused, who was a sworn law enforcement officer with the Prince William County Police Department at the time, had inappropriate contact while on duty with an adult woman. Both parties were known to one another.
