On Saturday, Nov. 26. 2022, at 7:26 a.m. Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 3600 block of Dalhgreen Place (Dumfries) for a report of a person trapped inside a townhouse on fire, according to Matt Smolsky, deputy fire chief. A second alarm was requested with the report of a person trapped. Cause of fire under investigation.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 9:19AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Bank of America located at 8501 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20110) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bank and approached a teller where he passed a note demanding money and implying he was armed with a firearm.

The incident was isolated to the home and the parties involved were known to one another, PWC police said.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department have identified the man found shot and killed in a vehicle in the area of Morgan Ct and Old Triangle Rd in Dumfries (22026) on November 12, 2022.

At 5:35AM this morning, Nov. 12, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Williamstown Rd and Old Triangle Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an initial report of shots fired.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau concluded the investigation into the shooting that occurred on the grounds of Gar-Field High School, 14000 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192), on April 15, 2022. In another case, Officers were initially notified by Child Protective Services (CPS) Oct. 26 that a mother, later identified as the accused, brought her 2-year-old son to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
