PWC jury returns “guilty’ verdict in 2021 aggravated malicious wounding case

On April 7, 2023, a Prince William County jury found Cody Dale Davis guilty of one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding. The jury deliberated for approximately ten minutes before returning the verdict of guiltyy, according to a news release issued by the office of Amy Ashworth, Commonwealth's Attorney. The Defendant faces a maximum term of imprisonment of life in prison and a fine of not more than $100,000.

Six displaced in Dale City house fire on Easter eve

The Fire Marshal’s Officer determined the fire was caused by unattended cooking in the home’s garage. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire conditions to the rear of the single-family home. All occupants were safely out of the structure. The fire was quickly extinguished. The home sustained substantial damage. No injuries were reported.
