Man burned while trying to keep warm outside on Minnieville Road; victim airlifted

On Tuesday, February 16th at approximately 5:30 a.m., fire and rescue crews were dispatched to a tent fire located in the 14100 block of Minnieville Road in Woodbridge. Upon arrival, fire and rescue units discovered an adult male residing in the woods with burns to his hands and front of his body.

PW Police ask for public’s help in locating missing disabled adult

Police report Brian Kese Boateng of Bristow is missing. He was seen Feb. 6 at his residence and reportedly seen Feb. 12 at the Dale City Recreation Center with a female acquaintance. He is described as a black male, 24 years of age, 5’7”, 164lbs with black hair and brown eyes. No current clothing description.

Bank in Manassas held up Feb. 9 by unknown person, wearing a disguise

On February 9th at 11:33AM, officers responded to the Bank of America located at 8501 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. Employees of the bank reported to police that an unknown person, wearing a disguise, entered the bank and approached the counter.

March 21 Transition Fair to help families of students with disabilities plan life beyond high school

To assist students with disabilities and their families in planning for life after school, the Prince William/Manassas/Manassas Park Transition Council will host its Annual Transition Fair. Virginia’s Lt. Gov. Northam casts his first tiebreaking vote

Today, Feb. 3, Lieutenant Governor Northam cast his first tie-breaking vote of the 2015 Virginia General Assembly in support of SB 785. His vote broke a 19-19 tie on the measure, which prohibits state agencies from discriminating in employment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
