Murder Investigation *UPDATE – Detectives from the Homicide Unit have determined that this incident was not random and had stemmed from a physical altercation just prior to the shooting. All three victims were known to one another. The relationship between the shooting suspect and the victims is currently being investigated.

A crowd gathered to remember and honor 22 county residents lost during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, during Prince William County's 9-11 remembrance ceremony, Friday, Sept. 11, 2015. The remembrance ceremony was held at the Liberty Memorial at the government center in Woodbridge.
