Century Forest Program that goes into law July 1 is designed to honor and recognize Virginians who have owned working forestlands for 100 years or more. Officials at the Virginia Department of Forestry, which will manage the program when the law goes into effect, estimate that there are more than 1,000 individuals or families eligible for this distinction.

Two current Prince William County Schools administrators have been named as assistant principals beginning July 1 for the new Colgan High School that will open this fall.

On March 19, Prince William County VA Police Department detectives from the Homicide Unit made two arrests and identified a third suspect involved in the shooting death of an adult male which occurred in the 7900 block of Blue Gray Cir in Manassas on March 18.
