When Chris Edwards discovered he’d won the $5 million top prize in the Virginia Lottery’s 50X the Money game, he didn’t jump up and down and shout. Manassas police apprehend wanted subject through collaborative effort

Manassas City Police, collaboratiing with task forces from Northern Virginia, Prince William County-Manassas-Manassas Park, US Marshals Service and US Secret Service apprehended David Mendoza, 18, without incident on Shady Grove Circle, in Manassas, around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016. Ten charges were placed against the suspect.
