On Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 at 1:22AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the intersection of Prince William Pkwy and Lynn St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an unconscious man in the roadway. Police reports said the man was believed to have been walking in the roadway of Prince William Pkwy when he was struck by an unknown vehicle which continued driving.

On November 6, 2024 Prince William County Police Department crash investigators obtained a court summons for a traffic violation citing the driver of the 2021 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van in the fatal collision that occurred in the 10100 block of Lake Jackson Dr. in Manassas (20111) on November 4, 2024.

On Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 at 1:32PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 2100 block of Armitage Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute.

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2021 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van was traveling eastbound on Lake Jackson Dr. when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking on the shoulder portion of the roadway. At the location of the crash, no sidewalk is present. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact police.
